Affirmations for Health and How to Implement Them
Using affirmations isn’t as easy as it may appear to be. Yes, all it really boils down to is the simple repetition of a few words until it sinks into your subconscious mind, therefore programming your subconscious mind and steering it towards helping you to become whatever you desire to be or have. Sadly, many of us start out passionately and adamant that we are going to change only for us to lose patience and slowly but surely stop. It doesn’t matter which area you are using affirmations for, be it affirmations for Health, wealth or just plain happiness, you are going to have to give it time and I’m talking about at least 30 days.
Think of your affirmations as the seeds of flowers. You wouldn’t plant them and then expect results within a week or even 2 weeks. You would plant them and leave them, knowing that as long as you keep them watered and fed, the fresh green shoots will soon appear and will not require so much tending from you thereafter. The same applies to using affirmations for health or anything else.
First, choose an affirmation which you are sure will suitably counteract the effect of any illness, allergy or something more serious when it is repeated and impressed upon the subconscious. Secondly, write your affirmations down in a notebook specifically for affirmations. Lastly, decide upon the times when you are going to impress those affirmations upon your subconscious mind.
The last point is the most important because that is where most people fail.
Do not, I repeat, do not allow yourself to have a day off from doing affirmations! That will be the beginning of the end of your recovery because once you take a day off, not only do you weaken the effect of the affirmations on your subconscious mind(remember it requires constant repetition) but you also begin to form the habit of not taking it so seriously. At first, it is imperative that you take the use of affirmations seriously because they are tools to recreate your life with and you need the juice to carry you to the 30 day mark, which is how long it takes to form a new habit whether you are using affirmations for health or wealth.

Just get started and aim at a specific goal such as losing weight and give it all the passion you have got to give because momentum is the key. Do not allow that pendulum of progress to stop swinging, because if you do, you will fall behind and give up because it will have become a game of catch up, and that is never fun is it?
Reach the 30 day mark and you will have a new habit, then things get interesting because you will have faith and belief in the power of affirmations and it will become fun and interesting to use affirmations daily.
